A fast-paced farce set in the 1940s about an ambitious Chinese American woman Natalie who is given the assignment to oversee "The Oriental Family Fun Program", a radio program getting its big premiere at a small San Francisco station (and its only shot, if it fails). Already blind-sided with an ill-timed marriage proposal, she finds herself maneuvering oversized egos, a love-sick colleague, an overdue electric bill, and a compromising offer care of the well-intentioned but manipulative wife of the sponsor.
